This rich, tangy Homemade Buffalo Sauce will be your go-to for adding bright flavors to just about anything!
In a medium sauce pan, add the butter and melt over low heat. Combine the rest of the ingredients, and add them to the sauce pan as soon as the butter is melted. Using a flexible spatula, stir to combine the ingredients and scrape the sides of the pan. Continue stirring just until the ingredients are completely combined (do not boil!) then remove from heat. Note: Overheating the sauce will cause the ingredients to separate and become "oily".
Sauce will thicken slightly as it cools. Some separation may occur, but ingredients re-incorporate quickly when stirred.
Cover and store sauce at room temperature for up to two days. Refrigerate for longer storage (up to one month). Allow sauce to come to room temperature, or microwave for 10 seconds at a time - stirring in between, before serving.
